Laboratory of INCDO-INOE2000, Research Institute for Analytical Instrumentation Subsidiary  has obtained in 2016, Sanitary – Veterinary and Food Safety  Authorization. According to the authorization, in LAM, chemical analyzis can be performed on the following types of samples:

    1. Determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons using liquid chromatography with fluorescence detector (HPLC);
    2. Determination of organochlorine pesticides using gas chromatography with electron capture detector (GC-ECD);
    3. Determination of water content;
    4. Determination of total crude protein;
    5. Determination of metals in food by atomic absorption spectrometry with graphite furnace;
    6. Determination of mercury by thermal desorption atomic absorption spectrometry;
    7. The determination of aflatoxins B1, B2, G1 and G2 using liquid chromatography with fluorescence detector (HPLC);
    8. Determination of antioxidant capacity;
    9. Determination of water-Karl Fischer method;
    10. Determination of density and viscosity;
    11. Determination of total nitrogen content by combustion according to the Dumas principle;
    12. Determination of lecithin by liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry.
  1. Feed:
    1. Determination of organochlorine pesticides using gas chromatography with electron capture detector

  1. Food of non-animal origin
    1. Determination of GMO from soy, maize and derived products using TaqMan GMO Screening;
    2. Spectrophotometric dosage of total polyphenols using Folin -Ciocalteu method;
    3. Determination of androsterone by liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry;
    4. Determination of vitamins (B6, B9, C) by liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry;
    5. Determination of amino acids by liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry.

LAM performs under RENAR accreditation the following analysis:

  1. The determination of aflatoxins B1 and B2 from cereals, nuts and derived products.

The quality of chemical analysis performed in LAM is assured by obtaining and maintaining RENAR certification and by participating at interlaboratory schemes.
